Volunteer for VOR

As you know, the strength of our organization rests on the time, talent and ingenuity of our board and committee members, with much of the work getting done “in committee.”

VOR has a number of standing committees, and we’d like to make sure that you have the opportunity to indicate your interest to serve on the committee(s) that reflects your interests and availability.

Become a State Coordinator

VOR relies on its network of grass-roots volunteers to coordinate local advocacy with national interests and to share knowledge and experience from one state to the next.

Most of the isssues involving your loved ones happen on the state level. You are the best, most qualified voice for the needs of the I/DD community in your state. We can help you, but we need you to help us do this. Please volunteer to be a state coordinator today.

There is no limit on the number of coordinators that any state may have, but we would prefer to have at least two or more people in each state.
